Practice Manager : Julie grew up traveling the country with her family as a military brat. She has since settled down in the Johns Creek area with her husband of 20+ years and her two beautiful daughters. At home she has 2 large Rhodesian Ridgebacks (Indie and Moose) and 2 cats (Polly and Thomas).
Julie joined the LAC, now HBAH, team in 2004. Some of her responsibilities include assisting the doctors with appointments, providing client and patient care, ordering, inventory maintenance, scheduling, and overseeing daily clinical operations. Outside of work, Julie enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling to new places.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) : Meredith graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work in 2008. However, her love for animals brought her into the veterinary field. She started working at Lafferty Animal Clinic in 2010 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2017.
Her favorite parts of her job are dental procedures, assisting in surgeries, and interacting with clients and their pets.
At home, Meredith and her husband Robby have 2 beautiful children, 1 dogs - Bo, 4 cats – Jax, Opie, Raleigh, and Chomper (yep, he likes to bite). In her free time, she enjoys being outside, running, and spending time with her family.

Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA): Jill grew up in Savannah and lived all over the West as an adult. She made it back to Atlanta at the start of 2021 and started working with Dr. Johansen and Dr. Taylor at that time. She has completed RECOVER Veterinary CPR and Life Support training and is currently pursuing her RVT. Her passions in veterinary medicine are geriatric care and quality of life. She has 2 senior dogs: Betty, a Chihuahua Dachshund mix and Buster, a Corgi Dachshund mix. In her free time she enjoys lifting weights, seeing live music, and football.
Anna was born and raised right here in Johns Creek. She first worked at Lafferty Animal Clinic for a year in 2010 after graduating from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah with her Technical Theatre degree. In 2011, she moved back to Savannah where she worked behind the scenes in live theater, movies, and kids ministry. After returning to the Johns Creek area in 2021, she was thrilled to rejoin the staff here, reuniting with her first love: caring for animals. Anna has an incredible daughter named Brenna, a sweet dog named Wicket, and a crazy cat named Pickles. In her spare time she enjoys crafting with her daughter, theater, movies, and Braves baseball.
Andjela has lived in the Alpharetta area for over 4 years. She has been in the vet industry since 2021. Her interests are all things kitties, but loves all animals. She is the clinic's resident crazy cat lady with four kitties of her own. Aston, Pumi, Schmidt and Evora. Andjela spends her free time pet sitting and fostering kittens.
Lili is from ABQ, New Mexico and moved to John’s Creek in early 2020. She currently attends John’s Creek High School and plans to go into the medical field after graduation. She has 3 dogs, Mia the Poodle mix, Titus the Yorkie, Oso the Blue Heeler, and 2 cats named Pinky and Brain. She enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Amy grew up in Roswell, Georgia and has always had a love for both animals and children. She currently lives in Cumming with her husband Brad, of 20 years, and two beautiful daughters, Emma and Harper. Amy attended UGA and graduated with a B.A. in Economics. After college she worked for Post Properties for 15+ years where she had many different roles. Then, she became a stay at home mom until 2015, when she pursued a career as a SPED paraprofessional, something she had always wanted to do. Now, 8 years later, Amy’s love for animals brought her to this clinic. In Amy’s spare time she loves crafts, shopping, traveling, music and spending time with her friends and family. She has a sweet, blind dog named Rufus and a bearded dragon named Larry.
